- Armand is of American nationality
- he was born in a hospital in New York city.
- The name "Armand" is a variation
of the word "Herman", a stronger form which is closer to its
original meaning of "warrior"...
- In the Swahili language, the word "assante"
(also: ahsante) means "thank you"!
If you would like to say in Swahili, "you are very welcome!" it's: "Karibu sana".
- Armand's grandfather had eight children.
- Armand's name was written in bold
black letters on a wall, together with many other famous born New
Yorkers, at

floor of Tower 2 of the

- Armand's 250-acre working farm in upstate

- Armand wrote a 2page letter to Tennessee
Williams (1911, Columbus Mississippi - 1983 New York) on August 21,
